Nutrition Consultant Adiana Castro MS, RD, CDN, CLT
offers nutrition counseling and nutrition services in English and in Spanish for the five boroughs of New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, and Bronx).
She gives medical nutrition therapy to people with diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol, sports nutrition, prenatal and maternal nutrition, as well as practical advice for general wellness and weight management.
She specializes in controlling blood sugar, lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, optimizing athletic performance, appropriate prenatal and maternal weight gain, teaching
how to eat, and maintaining a healthy weight.
Adiana believes first and foremost that your overall goal is maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Her focus is on flexible eating guidelines. To her, there is no such thing as bad foods, and her style does not involve deprivation, punishment, guilt, and all-or-nothing rules. Most importantly there is no judgment.
Adiana realizes adult men and women have a different set of challenges that range from hectic work schedules, busy family lives, dining out for every meal, business traveling, meal planning, sleepless nights that directly affect your nutritional, mental, and general well-being.
